I watched Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen on Saturday with my cousins and I love it so much! It was totally awesome! More action, more robots, and more Bumblebee! Haha..Love it so much...And the soundtrack was friggin cool! Linkin Park's New Divide and Transformers 2 = EPIC
I'm no guy, but I have to admit that Megan Fox was gorgeous..Haha..
Hasbro will have loads of toys to make from this movie, considering the amount of robots that appeared..Even female robots appeared..
Two thumbs up! Go catch it at nearest cinemas now! :)

Convent recently had its taste of the H1N1 scare when a girl from Form 4 had to be quarantined because her sister was the first person in Johor to be infected.
I pity the girl (can't reveal her name in case somebody not from our school is reading this) because she was so happy when her sister was finally coming home but this just has to happen. Their grandmother had also passed away if you read the news. I hope her sister recovers soon.
When I reached school today, the teachers stood there with a thermometer in hand, ready to send back any students who are running with a temperature. I was relieved when they let me passed. Cos I did have a slight fever yesterday. But today I was much better already, and my mom took my temperature this morning and it was normal.
There was no assembly this morning. We immediately returned to class. Most of the students were spotted wearing a mask. Some were busy applying sanitizers. It was really paranoia.
The whole class of the quarantined girl had to be quarantined in the hall. Man Peng, Regina, Wen Xin, Mei Jie etc etc...Library meeting was also postponed.
The teachers had a meeting during the 1st period. Open Day had to be postponed until after the year-end exam. Great. Now it's double the pressure. But classes still have to go on.
I was thinking, why go on with classes when so many people are quarantined already?! That's when Pn Lee came in and ask why I was here. I remembered my mom calling her yesterday after she took my temperature. Oh god.
Pn Lee asked me to return home. I was reluctant cos there was Add Maths and stuff. And also there was another reason too, but I had no choice. My sister can't come too.
And I'm now I'm stucked at home, quarantined? I don't even know whether I am allowed to go to school tomorrow. What more tuition and art class? Great. T.T

I just finished watching Higashi no Eden or also known as Eden of the East in English, one of the many spring animes in 2009. The ending left me completely baffled and pining for the movies which would be only released on the 28th of November. It seems like a long time to wait.
I have no idea what happened to the protagonist. But one thing is for sure, this is the most original anime I have watched for a long time. I really mean it. Though the ending did remind me of Code Geass R2..In R2, Lelouch makes himself king and pretends to be "evil" so that eternal peace can be attained. In Eden, the protagonist Akira asks the supercomputer Juiz to make him king of the country (Japan).
For what reason he wants to be king, I don't know. Apparently, somebody as exasperated as me was desperate enough to ask for help in Yahoo! Answers..I am now hoping the movies which supposedly will serve as the sequels for the show will explain this whole bizarre thing right from the start.
The heroine of the show, Saki, comments before the ending credits, that Akira became the king of a country which has no kings. Doesn't Japan have a king, or perhaps, an emperor? Haha..
The synopsis from Wikipedia is as below :
On November 22 2010, ten missiles strike against uninhabited areas of Japan, claiming no victims. This apparent terrorist act is referred to as "Careless Monday" and disregarded by most people. The series begins three months later, with a young Japanese woman named Saki Morimi visiting
Washington D.C. as part of her graduation trip. When she gets into trouble, a mysterious Japanese man, who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa, helps her through it. The man appears to have no memory and is completely naked, carrying only a gun and a
cell phone charged with 8.2 billion yen in digital money. The cell phone has the phrase,
noblesse oblige ("nobility obligates" or "noble's obligation" in English), printed on it. While they are coming back to Japan, they learn that a new missile attack has taken place in their country."
Akira later realises that he is part of the "Selecao", 12 people who are given 10 billion yen each by an individual named Mr Outside The money is in digital currency in a distinguishable cell phone owned by only the members of that organization. Each of the members are involved in a game in which they have find ways to "save" Japan by spending the money given to them. If their money runs out before they can "save" their country, or spend their money in their own personal ambitions, or even try to escape from the game, they will be killed by the "Supporter" who is disguised as one of the Selecao members.
For starters, this anime is very intriuging, very intense, and very mysterious, traits unlike the norm of most anime found in the market.
Though I read in a forum somewhere that the movie Eagle Eye has a similar concept to Eden of the East.
The production quality of the anime is superb, obviously, when it is produced by renowned studio Production I.G. Fans of Honey and Clover will also instantly recognize that the characters are designed by Chika Umino, the author of Honey and Clover.
Most people would also be delighted to know that the opening theme is "Falling Down" by the British band Oasis. The ending sequence, which features the song "futuristic imagination" by the Japanese band School Food Punishment is also one of the most refreshing sequences I have seen.
I have to admit that the show frequently touches on weird and absurd things, especially the "Johnnies". You will have to watch to find out what exactly are the "Johnnies" though.
Here are some screenshots of the 1st two episodes. Warning: There is a fair share of nudity here, but very well concealed XD

Saki gets into deep trouble after she throws a coin into the White House.

A naked Akira distracts the police. Notice why I said it's well concealed? :)

Imagine meeting a weird naked man on the streets?

Apparantly she was kind enough to give him some of her clothes

Now, which man in his right mind would give his pants to another man who has no pants? So it seems this man did.

Note Saki's expression when she sees Akira's...ehem...XD Kinda reminded me of a scene from a Hayao Miyazaki movie.

A policewoman from the Unites States asks Akira to strip off his pants so that she can see for herself that he is not the man they are looking for. Why do they even want to see that part to clarify? Note Saki's expression again..haha..On a side note, the police from US are not that stupid..:)

They make quite a cute couple don't they? Akira reminds me of Morita from Honey and Clover.

The highly advanced super cell phone used by the Selecao members..Cool isn't it?

Akira and Saki :)

Akira asks Saki to elope with him. (Just kidding..haha)

Wait, she actually did?!

Saki's cell phone. Cell phones play an important role in this anime.
If you are all in for an anime with bizarre stuff and cell phones, then this is an anime for you.

Finally I've gotten a hang of editing the html of this whole complicated non-blogger template thing, thanks to lots of help from Qin Wen. It's a great feeling once everything is done..Domo arigatou gozaimasu, Qin Wen!
I'm not as big as a fan of Tsubasa as my sister, but I chose this skin anyway cos it was quite nice.
And I actually read the latest chapter cos my sister was "hyperventilating" after she read it..And guess what?
Tsubasa fans who do not like spoilers, please do not continue reading. I'm warning you.
The cloned Syaoran and Sakura are actually the parents of the original Syaoran.
Strange as it seems, but very true. When I 1st read it, I was like "what the xx"?
So basically the whole chapter showed the clones, whom after reincarnating, grew up and led normal lives, got married, and had a baby, who turned out to be original Syaoran.
Wow.
There was another Vampire Knight skin which was quite nice. But oh, it's Kaname and Yuki. So I decided to drop that one. Vampire Knight's latest chapters are practically going haywire.
Today's our 1st librarian B.O.D meeting. We discussed many things, from re-arranging the books to the farewell party. Cassie asked us to scout for gifts and chocolates..:)

After our PE lesson today, Kai Voon came to the front of the class with a container in hand.
Another donation, was it a parent of a student who just passed away? I thought as my eyes hastily scanned the words handwritten on the surface.
"Donation for Denise Koh who passed away."
This was no parent. It was the name of a student.
I have not even heard of this girl until today. But she was already gone. I felt odd. For somebody so close to us to just leave us so suddenly.
I gasped as Kai Voon told us that Denise was a Form 1 girl who sucuumbed to her illness this morning.
"I certainly hoped you donated generously to the girl who just passed away", adds in Pn Emilda after she finished distributing the papers. "She had wanted to come to school, because she said she loved Convent so very much."
Our hearts go out to you, Denise, and we hope that now you can finally rest in peace.

Yes, I have decided to return officially to blogging after milleniums of not updating this almost, partially, perhaps already abandoned blog.
If you have been visiting my blog (I doubt anybody would since last September :P), I've missed out a lot of things that have been happening in my life (like the unforgettable X'mas celebration last year), so I decided that I want to start afresh with this whole blogging thing..
First, I want to change some stuff in this 'cacated' layout of this blog of mine..(I envy my sis, she makes her blog so bright and colorful..) and that playlist at the corner..it has been there since 2007 == and I don't even listen to some of the songs anymore...
Where should I start first?
